Viteuron’s mission is to develop effective therapies for neurodegenerative diseases. Neurodegenerative diseases are a group of progressive and eventually fatal disorders of the central nervous system (CNS). These diseases – including Alzheimer’s disease (AD), Parkinson’s diseases (PD), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease), and Huntington’s disease (HD) – have become a significant threat to human welfare and health in the modern world as the population ages, yet they remain incurable. Viteuron is dedicated to the discovery and development of effective therapies that address the root cause of these devastating diseases.
